ASHRM Equity of Care Assessment Tool

ASHRM created this Equity of Care Assessment Tool to help organizations determine their level of cultural competency; to assist in identifying potential gaps in equity of care and to help focus efforts that will enhance health care risk management. This tool is not a complete listing of all actions needed to address cultural diversity or cultural competence but is a good first step in conducting an equity of care gap analysis.
